The Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League have signed Jacob Seitz to a tender agreement for next season.
Seitz, 17, is a native of Mountain Iron, MN and currently plays for the Virgina/Mountain Iron-Buhl High School. As the team captain, Seitz (5-10 175) leads the team with 56 points. He has an impressive 25 goals and 31 assists in 22 games played. This fall, Seitz participated in the Midwest HS Elite League where he tallied five goals and seven assists for Team North.
“Jake is a dynamic forward who has great playmaking ability as well as a proven track record of being a goal scorer. He is having a great season with Virginia High School and we are excited about adding a top Minnesota forward like him to our organization,” said Magicians’ head coach Ben Weiand.
The Magicians have an off weekend but will return to action Feb. 9th against the Austin Bruins.
