The Magician’s eight-game road trip got off to a great start, last weekend in Fairbanks, sweeping the Ice Dogs and spoiling their home opener. Next up, the Magic head to the Kenai River to take on the Brown Bears for a three-game set. Starting Thursday night 7:00 in Alaska (10:00 Minnesota Time). The Magicians are 6-0-1 in their last seven games and look to keep the good times rolling this weekend against Kenai.
About the Brown Bears:
Kenai River currently sits 5th in the Midwest Division with a record of 5-7-0. Last weekend, they took South Division leader, Shreveport Mudbugs and came away with a split, winning a shootout Saturday night. This will be the Brown Bears second straight week at home, after starting the season with 10 road games.
Brown Bears to Watch:
Forward Luke Radetic – Radetic is a veteran forward for the Brown Bears. He leads the team in points with 14 (7G 7A) in 12 games. He’s a native of Chesterfield, MO and two points versus the Mudbugs last weekend.
Forward Luke Posner – Posner is a native of Mahtomedi, MN and having success in the first year with the Brown Bears. He has 13 points (5G 8A) this season and is the top scoring rookie for Kenai.

Cameron Buhl – Buhl is coming off a three-point weekend versus Fairbanks, including Saturday night where he scored the game-winning goal. Buhl has 5 points (3G 2A) in 7 games this season for the Magic.
Charlie Weiand – Weiand tallied a goal and assist last weekend. He is second on the team in points from defensemen with 7 (3G 4A) in 8 games. He is also second on the team in plus/minus at +4.
Jarret Lee – The Hibbing native, Lee is on a 3-game point streak and is second on the team with 6 assists.
The Magicians return home November 10th (Diaper Drive supporting Diaper Bank of Minnesota) and 11th (Ladies Night with drink specials) versus the Minnesota Wilderness.
